Rufus

This is from the Library stock in WetCanvas.  A really good photograph.  This is the first time I have used Arches Watercolor paper as do so many of the great hyper realistic artists.  After 3 intense years on Bristol Board plate surface it was difficult to get used to.  It has a texture (even though it is Hot Press) and I could not get as smooth of results.  I think the differences are better seen in person as I don't think they show here.  Again 11" x 14" Arches hot press watercolor paper with pencils and kneaded, Tom Bow, and Tuff Stuff erasers.  Anyone else use Arches?  What are your thoughts?  (Rufus was the name of the photo, and since it may be his actual name, I kept it).
