A big THANK YOU to ~CagedFury86 [link] her photograph of "The Lion II." I hope I did it justice as I find the photo breathtaking. I named it "The Lion" (other than obvious reasons) for a favorite childhood book called "The Lion" by Joseph Kessel. I searched a number of years ago and it has been long out of print. I think I will check out ebay for an old copy! This is 11" x 14" on Vellum Bristol Board. Wood Derwent pencils H, HB, B and mechanical pencil 0.5 4B.
